  Important Dates  
  • Application forms will be available from: January 12, 2015 to February 10, 2015.
  • Date of TJEE: April 22, 2015 and April 23, 2015.

Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) will be conducting Tripura Joint Entrance Examinations (TJEE) on April 22 and April 23, 2015.

TJEE is conducted for taking admission to Engineering, Medical, Technical and other professional degree programs against available seats reserved for the state of Tripura for the session 2015-16.


  • Candidate must be a permanent resident of Tripura and either the candidate or his/her parent must have been residing in the state of Tripura continuously for not less than 10 (ten) years immediately prior to the date of making application for appearing at the joint entrance examination-2015.

    Candidate must have passed / appeared / due to appear in the year of joint entrance examination at the higher secondary examination of TBSE/ CBSE or equivalent examination with the subjects in which he / she desires to appear at the joint entrance examination.

The application form & prospectus may be obtained from counter of the office of the Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE), Old Secretariat Complex, Finance Building, 2nd Floor, Agartala, PIN-799001 from January 12, 2015.

Application form, prospectus and e-challan may also be downloaded from their website and the filled in application form will also be accepted provided the applicant makes payment of Rs. 80/- in cash and deposits the respective examination fees through e-challan along with the other charges, if any, at any branch of State Bank of India and submit the e-challan (board's part) at the time of submission of application form in addition to the other necessary enclosures.

Question paper of each subject of examination will be of 100 marks comprising of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).

Candidates seeking admission to Engineering/ Technical degree programs (Group-A) will have to appear in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and those seeking admission to various degree programs of Medical/ Veterinary/ Agricultural/ Fisheries and others (group-B) will have to appear in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Candidates desiring to take chances in both of the above groups (group-C) will have to appear in all the four subjects.
